RBFD Assists In Removal Of 4" Drill Bit Through Patients Finger
On July 1, 2024, the Red Bank Fire Department was called to Riverview Medical Center to assist in the cutting of a 4 inch drill bit that impaled a patient's finger. The Members of the Department are trained for what are called "Man vs. Machine" incidents and carry specialized tools to assist with cutting in accident situations. Responding units included 66, 67, 68, 91. 95, Rescue 2, and Fire Police.
