At 2:30pm on Saturday March 25, 2023, the Red Bank Fire Department was dispatched to the Molly Pitcher Inn on a report of a fire in the basement. Upon arrival, members confirmed the smoke condition and a fire in the laundry room. Members of Unit 95 made the initial attack and were joined by the Chief's and members of Unit 91. The fire was quickly brought under control and responding units operated for just over an hour. Responding were: 66, 67, 68, 95, 91, 93, 94, 96, 90, and Fire Police.
