RBFD Rehab Unit Initiates Service
The Red Bank Fire Department's Rehab Unit has started operation. Through the efforts of the Rehab Unit members, and the supervision of the department's Chief's, the unit has repurposed the Boro ambulance to support fire operations. Currently, the Rehab Unit is seeking donations. Please see the notice below if you can assist.
Looking for DONATIONS!
The Red Bank Volunteer Fire Department has officially started a Rehab Unit in town. We repurposed an old ambulance into what will be used as a rest and recovery station for our first responders while on a fire call. We are asking the community for donations of the following items to stock the rig so we can better support our firefighters while they work.
-Blankets
-Towels & washcloths
-Ground Coffee or K-cups
-Water or Gatorade
-Nutritional snacks like granola bars
-Winter hats and gloves
-Hand warmers
We will be accepting donations on Wednesday January 18th from 5-7pm at the Red Bank First Aid Building (151 Spring St, Red Bank, NJ) and also on Saturday January 28th from 1-3pm at the same place.
