RBFD Provides Mutual Aid To Little Silver Commercial Fire
Shortly after 6:00am on 7/16/2022, the RBFD was dispatched in mutual aid to Little Silver for a heavy smoke condition in a commercial dry cleaner. Upon arrival fire was confirmed inside the building.
FROM LITTLE SILVER FIRE DEPT:
Just after 6am LSFD was dispatched to a commercial building on Branch Ave for a smoke condition. while enroute Chief 2367 transmitted a Box alarm bringing in our mutual aid partners. Upon arrival, heavy smoke was pushing from the Bravo side of the building, and contents were found on fire inside the rear of the building.
Members from Ladder 2391 established a water supply, laddered the building, and stretched a hand line to the seat of the fire keeping same to the area of origin. A second hand line was quickly deployed by Sea Bright Fire Rescue and the fire was quickly knocked down by 23/43 crews. Red Bank Fire Department made entry on the charlie side, as well as the roof checking for extension and were assigned ventilation. The fire was kept to the area of origin and is under investigation by the Monmouth County Fire Marshals Office. Thank you to our mutual aid partners for their response.
