RBFD Assists Resident and Police
The Red Bank Fire Department has kept busy the past two days assisting our neighbors and the police.
Yesterday, the L91, E93, C66 and C67, and RBPD assisted a driver whose car became stuck on a concrete and rebar parking space block.
We utilized our air bag system, which allowed our members to gain a working window in which we could cut the rebar, dig underneath the concrete block and remove that from underneath the vehicle.
The operation lasted roughly 1 half hour. This was another shining example of the company utilizing the many tools in our tool chest to assist someone in need of help. Most importantly, team work.
Today, L91 responded to a call at the West Front St. train trestle to remove dangerous debris left behind by a truck that struck the trestle.
